Peated Single Malt — Islay, ScotlandTastedFlavorful whisky for the price - there are many layers of flavor behind the peat.
Compass Box Peat Monster (Classic Brown Label)
Peated Blended Malt — ScotlandTastedFills up the entire room with peat smell. I like peat but this is extreme.
Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition
Peated Single Malt — Highlands, ScotlandTastedSweet with floral notes and strong honey/caramel flavor. Very smooth. Tastes a bit watered down.
Lagavulin 16 Year
Peated Single Malt — Islay, ScotlandTastedRich and not overpoweringly peaty, with hints of caramel and spice. Flavors not as strong as I was anticipating but tasty nonetheless.
Edradour 2008 10 Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)
Single Malt — Highlands, ScotlandTastedSmooth and sweet with a hint of spice. Not all vintages are created equal - 2008 is significantly lighter and less rich than the 2009 version.

Single Malt — Speyside, ScotlandTastedFruity and floral with a hint of caramel. Light and smooth.
