Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed July 26, 2015 (edited May 4, 2026)Light colored, caramel and burnt sugar on the nose. A little more burn than I usually like, 3 stars beat? 3.88231 on the rocks. So, 4. Much bigger fan of Aberlour, but this is by no means a bad Scotch. -

Reviewed October 13, 2014 (edited March 21, 2015)Something about this just rocketed it to my favorite bottle. Butterscotch, vanilla, apricotty goodness. This is one that I will replenish when it gets low. Polar opposite of Laphroaig, but I do believe these two are my staples.
