Kings County Peated Malt Whiskey
American Single Malt — New York, USA
Reviewed January 26, 2020 (edited December 6, 2024)Wow. IMHO, this is some of the best, most dynamic single malts I've had. It has depth, great mouth feel, layers of delicious flavor. After getting a 750, for $71, I had to take some time to know how much I liked this. A lot. I'm super impressed. I know this is vague, but this is easily a top pick for me. -
wow. I'm impressed. I dropped a hundo on this after much research and did not disappoint. there's much complexity, flavor, uniqueness...so much going on. it's a rich dram that covered the tongue, without being too heavy at all. all the reviews are basically spot on in terms of description. I don't have it in front of me now...but know I want another pour after work. if I could safely get all the time, but was less expensive--- I'd make this a regular. just a but pricy...but was and will be worth it. it's a buy.100.0 USD per BottleNashville

Kings County Peated Bourbon
Bourbon — New York, USA
Reviewed December 22, 2018 (edited August 3, 2019)it has some soft sweetness on the nose. there's a depth to it I can not place. maybe light peat and fresh leather. after a sip, I get sweetness. Fruits. The lightest of spice. Has some nice, unique complexity. Let it sit on you for a bit and you'll get a dash of peat. Overall, a very delicious offering. If they offered 750s at $50, it'd be on my bar consistently. At 42 for a 300mL, I'll keep this as a 'save for special occasions' dram. Worth having around!
