Maple and vanilla, was not bad but not something I feel a need to keep in the bar. For $40 there’s much better out there.

Was not a huge fan of this one. It may have been due to drinking it right after having New Riff which is full of flavor. I’ll have to try again on its own.

Sweet and oily. Didn’t expect something this smooth for the price. This is a good one to share.

Peaches on the nose and ginger to finish thank you very much! Great single malt! At almost 53% ABV, be careful with this one, it bites a little.

I do like sweet whiskey and this one pleases me. It’s light and flavorful. Not too sweet, just right! It’s a bottle you can get in trouble with for sure! Keep ‘em coming!

It goes to show that a highly rated whiskey does not automatically mean your going to like it. While I didn’t hate this whiskey, I did find it a little flavorless. No matter how much I searched for the flavors I was getting, nothing really stood out. It just seemed bland to me. It won’t stop me from trying mic drop 2 and 3 though!

This one really bites but in a good way. I enjoy the heat! I get baking spice throughout the sip. A nice long finish. It make me want come back for more, good stuff!

Not a favorite but not bad enough to pour down the drain. It was just missing something. Slight lingering aftertaste. Maybe needs more time in the barrel, although I have had younger whiskey that I enjoyed. I didn’t hate it, it’s just not a go to whiskey for me. It did however get a little better as the ice melted. Drank on the rocks.

I found this to be quite tasty. Sweet and cinnamon were what I tasted most. Vanilla was also pretty strong. Would like a bottle for myself!

I have been enjoying Rye lately, but this was not my favorite. Next please :-)
