Tastes

I really enjoyed this rye. It was full of flavor and went down smooth. There was a very enjoyable lingering aftertaste. I would enjoy a full bottle of this in my rotation of go to whiskeys.

I taste herbs and spice and everything nice. A pretty smooth Rye whiskey. The bite is much less than I expected for 100 proof.

Drank on the rocks. It is spicy and bites a bit but is very enjoyable. The bottle is cool too which is just a bonus.

Sweet and refreshing. I could drink this all day long. Find a bottle and enjoy!

I have yet to try something from Hillrock that I didn’t like. Although they have a peated single malt that I’ll probably stay away from :-). The Solera aged bourbon was full of flavor and very enjoyable to drink on the rocks. So far I have had their Rye and single malt, both scored very high on my pallet.

Spicy and hints of vanilla. Enjoyed more once the ice melted a bit. The aftertaste lingers a bit, the initial flavor is better than the aftertaste.

A little bite at first, smooth finish.

I enjoyed this one. Sweet and notes of fruit throughout my taste. I might pick up a bottle of this to keep on my shelf!
