Strong notes of eucalyptus and menthol. Hits of lemon mint, pineapple sage and a nutty hint of wattle seed. Palate: eucalyptus notes through entire taste but has a nice botanical taste including notes of juniper and a lemon citrus. There’s a touch of lavender, desert lime, maybe almond in the middle. The eucalyptus is strong on the end with juniper. Overall this is a very drinkable gin for an approachable price. Mixes well too for a simple G&T or martini.

George Dickel 15 Year Tennessee Single Barrel
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed June 30, 2022This one was pretty pleasant. Nose: Brown butter maybe brown sugar, rich toffee, toasted vanilla with hints of charred oak. Palate: Spice forward, cinnamon, caramel, and chocolate/toffee. A smooth, mellow mouthfeel throughout with a burn that picks up through the finish. If it’s decently priced, pick it up. -
Fantastic on a whim pick up. This gin delivers on taste. It’s refreshing, citrusy with notes of melon, lemon, and yuzu. Very floral. Subtle hints of pepper and definitely juniper. Overall it may not be for those who favor more traditional flavors, but I found it to be delightful both straight or mixed with tonic, sparking water, etc.

Gran Coramino Tequila Reposado Cristalino
Tequila Reposado — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed June 11, 2022It’s backed by Kevin Hart so figured since he tends to deliver straight truth in a lot of ways this would be no bs good. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. It’s extremely average. It’s sweet with notes of vanilla and honey slight pepper bite on the back end. More specifically, for being a coramino I expected a very smooth filtered, complex tequila and all it delivered was what I can only describe as underwhelming. Smooth yes, but it’s bland and not complex so if you’re an aficionado you’re likely to be disappointed. For me, price to taste just doesn’t deliver, sadly disappointed. -
N: well balanced, hints of orange and lemon, aniseed or fennel, pine, and definitely juniper P: Rich, smooth, subtle spice maybe cinnamon, coriander, cardamom, and juniper F: after the peppery note it’s herbal and a bit bitter Overall: This gin is a great take on a London Dry gin at excellent value. Anchor distilling did a solid job here and this is an easy drinker. It’s juniper forward and really carries a G&T, Martini, Gimlet, and even craft cocktails.27.0 USD per BottleTotal Wine & More

P: sweet, floral, mouthfeel is a bit thin F: spice, rye, bit of cinnamon, smoother than others, but medium punch Overall: I’ve bought this a few times as I find it to be a good easy drinking, mellow bourbon that comes in an ultra cool bottle.
