Tastes

Intensely apricot with floral backing on nose and taste. Makes me think of eating apricots in a meadow. No harsh burn. A personal favorite.

Smells like raspberry seeds and seaweed laver. Tastes like a mouthful of raspberry lavender soap. Very smooth going down, so it has that going for it. I can't get over the intense vegetalness of it. Wish they did a lighter maceration so that there was less contribution from the raspberry seed and more from the raspberry fruit.

More burnt brown sugar, less apple than the VSOP. Balanced, but I personally prefer my calvados to taste more fruit-forward.

Not too sweet. Good apple flavor with balanced amount of warm spices from the barrel. I prefer this to the XO.

Very sweet and floral with juicy fruits. The rose petals come through very well. Reminds me of Turkish delight.
