Deceptive whiskey. The nose registers strong smokiness which I liked but the taste and very vanilla and aggressive. Far too sweet for me and contrasts the sniff. Too much alcohol to get any kind of different tastes.

Slightly Smokey on the nose and the taste starts off sharp and a little salty. Then just fades into nothingness.

Sharp peat. Great for cold nights as it is spicy and warming. Less balanced than the 12.2 so it does skirt the edge of that “band-aid” taste on the back end.
