Tasted 12/31/18 at Last Hurrah, Boston The nose is very interesting, something I have never smelled before. I almost want to call it a spoiled milk smell, but still overall nice. This must be the butter aromas coming out. The palate is extremely complex and the finish seems like it goes on forever. For a wheated high proof bourbon it definitely has a kick to it, but that is partially why we like it. Price is based off a 2oz pour!19.0 USD per Pour

Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed December 15, 2018 (edited December 26, 2018)Tasted 12/15/18 Not a Jack Daniel’s guy at all and this is no exception. Mellowed down an extra time which means an extremely thin mouthfeel even for 40%. But there are two redeeming factors with this gentleman. First is that it taste less like normal jack so that’s a plus! And second, the oak flavor shines through nicely. I’ll gladly stick to the Kentucky bourbons. -
Tasted Thanksgiving 2018. I have only dabbled in Irish Whiskey and unfortunately nothing has really caught my attention; even the popular Redbreast 12 year. Maybe it's the triple distillation that makes it overly easy to drink, but this is a zesty simple flavor that does not get my taste buds excited.
