Amrut Fusion Indian Single Malt Whisky
Peated Single Malt — Bangalore, India
Reviewed November 20, 2018Tasted 11/14/18 at Whisky House San Diego. This was a nice balance between two whiskies. 25% peated whisky with 75% non peated whisky. Almost gives it a sherry flavor when blended together. -
Glen Scotia Double Cask Single Malt
Single Malt — Campbeltown, Scotland
Reviewed November 5, 2018 (edited September 16, 2019)Tasted 11/4/18 at brother in law’s house. From the get go there was a strong ethanol smell that continued right in to the palate and continued through the finish. This is a very spicy scotch especially since it is on;y 46%. I appreciate that this is finish in Pedro Ximenez casks for a short time. -

OYO Bourbon Whiskey Michelone Reserve
Bourbon — Ohio, USA
Reviewed October 7, 2018 (edited June 21, 2020)A strange combination between the two blends. Not a bad bourbon, but not a very good one either. -
Cutwater Devil's Share Bourbon
Bourbon — California, USA
Reviewed August 14, 2018 (edited November 13, 2018)It’s decent enough for a four year bourbon, but definitely not worth the price tag. I’m still surprised that after a number of years the cost for this bottle has only gone up. Money is better spent on bottles that are better for half the price. Opened 2/13 Finished 9/19130.0 USD per Bottle
