Tasted 5/29/19 sample bottle Don't be fooled by the description of sweet easy sippin whisky. There isn't much sweetness and it's nowhere close to being drinkingable neat. I took a few sips and decided to discard it. If you had no other choice i guess you can mix it with a soda for mask the bad flavor. Choose a better inexpensive bottle other than this one.0.0 USD per Bottle

Sagamore Spirit 'Sagamore Reserve' Double Oak Rye (2017 Limited Edition Release)
Rye — (bottled in) Maryland, USA
Reviewed May 19, 2019 (edited August 30, 2022)Tasted 5/15/19 at Whiskey House, San Diego. This was my favorite in Sagamore’s product line. The double barrel process really makes a different from their regular straight rye, you get much more pronounced oak flavors. For it being a rye whiskey, it has a very mild flavor profile and minimal amounts of a typical rye spice. -
Tasting at Whiskey House SD 5/14/19 with president of company. 2/3 of barrels are high rye mashbill of 95% and 1/3 of barrels are low rye mashbill of 52% rye and all whiskies they make are aged 5 years according to company. For being majority high rye blend their standard rye is very soft and mild and pallet is thin and not very bold. If you are expecting a spicy rye this offering and rye brand is not going to live up to that. However, if you are looking to did your feet into the rye category then this may be a good one to try.
