Definitely tastes better than it costs, so great value. Nose is burnt caramel, a little smokey, some astringency. Nice and smooth, as expected for a blended scotch at only 40%. Easy drinking peat, a little pepper, generally pretty earthy. Finish is camp fire like, but super short. It’s like eating Doritos in that you want to drink again almost immediately because the flavor seems to disappear. Solid buy for the $25 USD I paid for it on sale.
