Its complex/interesting, works in a Oaxaca old fashioned with a joven mezcal. If you want to tone it down for another cocktail mix it with patron or centanario. I feel like you can do so much with this a not so bold tequila and a quality mezcal -
This is very very sweet, surprisingly seeet for 70 proof. I have no real idea how good the brandy is due to how sweet it is... But a wisconsin old fashioned could work for someone who rarely drinks mixed drinks. When mixed 50/50 with lemon lime soda it still tastes like candy. Also you could probably mix it 4 to 1 with a good unflavored brandy and still taste the berry
