Early Times Kentucky Whisky
Blended American Whiskey — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 25, 2020 (edited December 2, 2020)Nose - vanilla, lemon, butterscotch, powdered sugar, some “green” flavor (a bit like fresh cut grass), ethanol, moderate burn. Taste - vanilla, lemon, ethanol, but almost no burn, finishing quick and with the flavor of sweetened ethanol. Not great, but would probably make a decent mixer. -
Coopers' Craft Original 82.2 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 24, 2020 (edited December 2, 2020)Nose - banana, vanilla, Nilla wafer, very similar to JD, pancake and maple syrup, light ethanol burn. Taste - vanilla, banana, butterscotch, artificial sweetener, caramel, very little burn, finishing quick and syrupy sweet. Very simple and slightly cloying. Not bad, but it would be better as a mixer. -

Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon 100 Proof
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 19, 2020 (edited May 13, 2021)Nose - caramel, vanilla, peanut, cherry, buttery cinnamon, moderate ethanol burn. Taste - brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, mild chocolate, cinnamon, finishing fairly quickly with a classic bourbon (if not slightly rough) finish. I think this is a really solid bourbon for the price. Would be interested in comparing this side-by-side to WT101. -
