Tastes

For something different than a typical bourbon this is a very nice change. On the nose I got a melted butter popcorn fragrance. I want to say it was more like kettle corn. On the palate it was like a candy corn flavor with some vanilla and honey. This would not be a daily dram for me simply because of the sweetness. Once or twice a week would be good. It would also be good as a dessert dram after a nice hearty meal. Overall, I like it for a change up once in a awhile.

This whisky is underrated on this website in my opinion. Far better than some of the other whisky brands I’ve tried with higher ratings.
