Ok, I think this is vastly underrated. Bang for buck it's a great blend. I'm guessing quite high proportions of Lagavulin and Caol Ila in here. Sweet, sweet nose, lovely dark caramel/nougat smokey aftertaste. This is a pleasure and at the moment probably my fav blended whisky.

This stuff is amazing. Pour it with just a drop of water then test the nose. Mostly it'll be a strong smoky, peaty, briny smell. But leave it warming in your hand for 5-10 mins then smell again. It's all pungent sweetness. Nougat, caramel, burnt prunes. Almost too good to drink. Taste and enjoy the explosion. Liquid fireworks enjoyed around an autumnal bonfire. Heaven.

Smoke in the water. Close to perfect but have to leave room for improvement. Sweet, salty peat with a great complex nose and a lingering bonfire finish.
