Wayne Gretzky No. 99 Ninety Nine Proof Canadian Whisky
Canadian — Ontario, Canada
Reviewed June 24, 2024 -
Tasted the 2022. Not for the beginning scotch drinker. This is a very complex expression. At 52.5% abv there is some sharpnes. Tried both neat and with a bit of water. Once you get past the alcohol burn neat is the best way to drink this. Light brownish/golden coloring. Sherry, chocolate, vanilla, candied nuts, ruby red grapefruit, and light spice on the nose. Caramel or creme brulle, nuts, sponge cake, and pepper come through on the taste. Sweet and creamy with some spice. Glad to buy it but prefer both 12’s and 15.140.0 USD per Bottle

Classy scotch. Beautiful copper coloring with legs that won’t quit. It is extremely smooth and oily. Tastes of crème brûlée, vanilla, malt, biscuit, cherry, and apple. Some think this scotch is too expensive. It is not a everyday drinker. It’s for special events and occasions. I’ve bought many a $80-$100 bottles of bourbon or scotch. Keep it on the top shelf and use it for special friends and events. This bottle shows you are a serious scotch drinker and may convert others to our world. Cheers!100.0 USD per Bottle
