Tastes

A little thin and sharp. Dry. Modest heat, modest flavour profile. Incredibly sake like....cant help but wonder if this was aimed at domestic consumption. Certainly not close the larger, robust Japanese whiskeys I'm familiar with. A very safe blend, best suited to a highball or other mixed drink.

Soft golden colour, light bodied but sharp with a challange. Tastes young, nothing subtle about it yet has some distinct spice and fruity notes. Great on ice or in a highball. A little pricy but lots of fun.

Dry toffee, straw, and honey. light bodied and friendly, with hints of brine and a faint hint of peat. lingering finish.

Initial peatiness, hints of cinnamon and spice, continued smokiness, briny with a lingering shallow caramel note. Thin, grassy, alcohol forward. Enjoyable but the taste does not measure up to the pricetag.

Spicy & sweet - with a sharpness to balance it. Subtle flavory notes from the rum barrels. light bodied, crispy, scents of brown sugar and honey. light, fast finish. easier drinking and less complex than expected. Still highly enjoyable.

slightly sweet, chocolate, cinammon with hints of salt. mid weight. Vague campfire smokiness, hot on the tongue, doesn't linger long.

Maple syrup and chocolate aroma, hot and rich on the palate, fruity notes, full bodied, deliciously oily. lingering heat.

Butter, caramel, spice, full bodied and smooth. Hot and luxurious, lingering. More forest and field than ocean. Wow!

Sweet, smoothish, fuller bodied but not large. Burbon cask accents bordering on candy. A little sharp. Thoughtful.

vaguely peaty, smooth with a little challenge, ocean dampened fruitiness. different and enjoyable.
