One of my favorite sipping scotches, especially for the price. Very peat heavy and iodine/ sea salt briny on the front end, but surprisingly smooth on the back end and melts in your mouth. Tastes a lot like it comes from the North Atlantic Ocean. Reminds me of the movie “The Lighthouse.” Much smoother than I think it typically gets credit for given how strong the initial taste is. Highly recommend.

Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 13, 2020 (edited May 18, 2020)I don’t know if it’s the barrel I got, but I’m not a big fan of sipping this one. Not a lot of complex flavors. Good nose though. I ended up just making cocktails out of it, and it’s good for that. -
