Tastes

This is nice, spearmint, vanilla bean, maple syrup, cloves, and oak. I’m tasting some sweetness too. It’s not cloying or too sweet, but I suspect some sugar is involved. All in all a very nice drink.. the finish is a little pine needley.

Smells harsh, tastes harsh, burns hard! It’s like drinking rocket fuel. So if that’s your thing, drink up!

To quote my friend, “Surprisingly not too bad!” Cinnamon hints, strong and great on ice.

Elevated flavor. Reminds me of the Woodford Reserve, but a little more fancy. Too tired to properly review flavors.. long day. Maybe tomorrow

Had this at a party and loved it! Had this at home and liked it! My wife says it’s because free always tastes better.

For the aroma I’m getting banana. It’s in the flavor profile too, plus banana peel, hickory, and a hint of lime. Dark and Smokey / charred finish. It’s actually quite nice! Tasted it back to back with Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey and the Bulleit was much tastier and the Woodford was more medicinal and harsh. Which is saying a lot cause Woodford was one of my favorites.
