Tastes

My sampling is from Cask 45. Sherry. Vanilla. Tried with and without water. A couple of drops is all you need to unlock this one. Bourbon fan of a long time. Not ashamed to say Aberlour , all makes now sit on my bar. Really enjoyable.

I have both. Stagg and Stagg Jr. If you like freight trains. This stuff is for you. Powerful flavors. Brown sugar. Cinnamon , vanilla. It's an explosive bouquet in the mouth. I don't water mine down. So can't speak on that side of things. Really good on a cold night.

Way to young. Could not get paste the aroma of it. Could taste metal in every sip. Couldn't even make a decent Manhattan with it. Everyone I made a drink with it never finished it. Cool bottle. But that's about all I can say it had going for it. Try it in a bar before buying a bottle.

Bourbon is not as complex as say Scotch. However anything 20 years old has to have some character. It does. Really smooth. Caramel ,Vanilla , slight cinnamon. Even burn from start to finish. I enjoyed it very much.
