Tastes

What's interesting is that the wine influence is much less pronounced than I expected. Somehow the main tasting note for me is a hazelnut, plus there's a sunflower oil and only then some wine. Pretty unusual and better than I expected, especially considering the price in Georgia. UPD: Ok, I'm closer to half a bottle now, and let me say, it grows on you. I kinda like it, especially for the price here in Georgia. It's not very complex, but this hazelnut oiliness and bitterness is really nice.

For the price it's very good. And part of me liked it better than Stout Cask, but maybe because I expected too much from the last one.

Dark fruits, custard on the back, no smoke, a bit of spice, finish is quite long. I guess if I wanted something sherry casked, I'd buy something a bit cheaper yet still good, like Naked Malt.

When I first tried it, it seemed very fruity, sweet, white wine-y. But when I got back to it after several weeks, it's like totally different whisky. Most of the fruitiness is gone and now it tastes bitter (which I like better).

Good whisky, cream-caramel-vanilla, pear right from the bottle, and veeery similar to Irish (reminded me of Jameson) on the nose and on the taste. Maybe too similar to buy this one instead of Irish. I guess I would've just bought Jameson if wanted something like this.

Less interesting and less creamy-caramely than I hoped for after trying the standard Jameson and watching reviews.

Very dark fruity which was off-putting at first but later on I came to enjoy it like a dessert.
