Wild Turkey Master's Keep 17 Year
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 30, 2018 (edited October 29, 2018)Exceptionally smooth whiskey, but it stops there. For $150 bottle this is a pretty big let down. Not much flavor to speak of. Amazingly smooth, but low ABV, high price, and nothing special will make this a ‘not recommend.” At $50 a bottle it would be a buy. -
3.3 stars. Good, but not great. Its a lot better after some water, 3 stars neat. It will remind you of Elijah craig. Its basically a wheated Elijah craig. Would have been better at a higher proof like EC vs EC barrel proof. So at 100 proof this is like a watered down and wheated EC. Super oaky by the way.

Knob Creek 9 Year Single Barrel Reserve
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 22, 2018 (edited June 29, 2018)Rich and smokey. Cant beat the flavor, price and availability. -
Full flavor bourbon. Upon opening the bottle you smell toffee hit you in the nose. A lot of alcohol hits you on the first sip, but if u let the ice melt just a little you get a rich super smooth drinker. Very sweet, lots of butterscotch undertones here. I really like this addition from bookers and i will buy another bottle when I empty this one
