Not a lot of smell to go with this. The taste itself is pretty good but the lack of nose and surprising lack of aftertaste makes it seem incomplete.

Overall solid. Nice earthy smell, taste is peaty but not overpowering, plus there is a burn going down. For a good peaty scotch it is decent at everything but not a standout anywhere. I got mine on sale, so good value at the price I bought it.

It's a pretty nice and smooth taste - sort of lightly sweet with a surprisingly dark and warm aftertaste. I would rate it higher if it were priced lower.

Very smooth. It's warm but not overpowering. The taste is a nice sensation, though I don't have any standout notes.

It isn't as distinctive as other Ardbegs. It's smooth, sort of smoky, but nothing outstanding. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it, but I might buy it if the store didn't have any other Ardbeg in stock.

The ultimate peat. One drop and your sinuses feel like you are swimming in an old bog. It's glorious (if you like peat). Also, this is 114 proof? This is a special drink!
