Tastes

Didnt really like this one. It definitely drinks to its 125 proof, mellows out with a bit of water. Definitely get leather on the pallete. Then finish is super long and very bitter. Rather unpleasant. I was disappointed after spending 100 bucks on it. It makes an interesting manhattan.

Super rich and creamy texture. Very strong caramel almost like a dessert drink. The alcohol isnt as aggressive as the proof would make you think. Absolutely must try, one of the best bourbons i have had.

Coffee

Pleasant nose. Can taste the oak pretty clearly. Smooth dry finish with no burn. Great for sipping neat.

Definitely get more heat and bitter oak compared to a sweeter, younger whisky.

Great for the price. Good mixer or neat drink. Not very complex, but good proof and flavor.
