Tastes

It's complicated! Compared to other Highlands, it's too smokey. Compared to other Highland Parks, it's right on par! Compared to the smoke of an Islay, it's lacking. Over all, it's pretty well-balanced. In comparison to the HP 12 year, its apples and oranges, but I'd take the 12 any day over this one!...but then again, I wouldn't turn this down if someone poured it for me! See?!?! It's complicated!!!

Nice! Perfect sipper for a hot summer day. Sweet, vanilla. Light spice. All around solid with nothing fancy

Young tasting. Decent balance. Heavy roasted malt has a distinct Guinness/coffee taste! Best one that we tried at the Brewstillery in Nashville. Their Kolsch on top made for a perfect beer 'n a bump!!!

No smoke. Young-tasting whiskey. Aged in small barrels, easily identifiable.

Smooth, light, and sweet! Light and sweet cereal/grain mixed with floral and light barrel notes on the nose. Light mouth feel, sweet, honey and sugar tastes. Finish is medium and slightly warming. A perfect after dinner sipper...best enjoyed on the deck during the summer!
