Tastes

Fruity and sweet, with a nice balance of heat in the throat. A bit thin and better with ice, unlike some of the mid-top shelf brands I've had. Overall, a great drink and very approachable for beginners

The best scotch I've tried. Fruity on the nose with a hint of a bourbon-esque brown sugar. A bit of a bite is quite inviting with this highland drink. There is less of a profound "bandaid" taste with this. It almost tastes of bourbon, but definitely has the scotch character. A great gateway into scotch

My first real attempt at trying scotch. With two ice cubes, it initially presented a complex flavor that was somewhat enjoyable. But as the ice melted a little, it began to be more harsh, with a kind of sweet, yet Band-Aid type of flavor.

Thin and a bit light on flavor/complexity. Sweetness with a little spice (I think?) not bad at all for the price. Better than Jack or Jim and cheaper

Very subtle smokiness, but definitely has a sweeter side to it that takes over. Nice little burn on the swallow. Reminds me of a lesser Knob Creek
