As you swallow, dark chocolate covered cherries and mint come in, and your left with pipe tobacco and finally the cinnamon red-hots come in to remind you that your drinking 100 proof. 1792 Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 11, 2020 (edited September 14, 2021)Strong vanilla sugar with weak caramel all the way through. Hot cinnamon candy comes in mid way. Finish with vanilla, hot cinnamon. Good burn through out. Feels like the flavors are underwhelming for a $30 price range when you can get EW bib, early times bib, or rebel yell 100 at a $20 price range with the same or more complex taste.32.0 USD per Bottle -
Old Grand-Dad Bonded Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 11, 2020 (edited September 14, 2021)Caramel, vanilla, oak are present all the way through. Mid way orange peel comes through, very nice. The finish has a strong leather / black liquorish taste that I'm not a fan of and leaves me disappointed.21.0 USD per Bottle -
Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon 100 Proof
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 3, 2020 (edited December 22, 2021)This bourbon taste's like a memory. It tastes of hay and cinnamon red-hot candy. To be more specific it tastes like the smell of an old hay barn and cinnamon red-hot candy. As it hits your tongue it is old dry hay, the old metal tools stored inside the barn, the old dry dirt floor, and the old dry barn wood. It finishes with the red-hot candy on the way down with a small kentucky hug. A sip of this is like eating a bag of red-hots while sitting in the hay loft of grandpa's old barn. Very unique flavor and very good.18.99 USD per Bottle -
Early Times Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 24, 2020 (edited September 14, 2021)Desert bourbon, sweet vanilla custard and caramel dominate the flavor from start to finish, a small amount of orange peel sneaks in half way through, and at the end you get a hint of pepper. Very good, really nice to sip at the end of the day, and at $24 for a liter it is that much sweeter.23.99 USD per Bottle -
Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed May 18, 2020 (edited April 27, 2022)Caramel, vanilla, toffee, and a hint of honey are the most prevalent flavors. As you swirl it in your mouth there is a fruity, floral taste that sneaks in. As you swallow there is a nice sweetness left in your mouth with a little pepper finally showing its head. Sweet, smooth, little burn.29.99 USD per Bottle -
Mild vanilla and caramel as it touches your mouth, a very subtle oak comes in mid way, it ends with a mild bitterness. Your left with a slight bitter sweet taste. No burn or pepper in it at all. I can see why it is popular, it doesn't the commit to any distinction, it is a very mild and balanced bourbon. Buffalo Trace is advertised as a sweet bourbon, but for me it could be much sweeter; the price is also a deterrent for me, even though $27 isn't an expensive bourbon you can do better for cheeper - Evan Williams BIB or OGD just to name a couple.26.99 USD per Bottle

Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 17, 2019 (edited May 22, 2020)I get caramel out of the gate, a hint of vanilla, and a small amount of rye spice at the end. Finish is short and mild. This bourbon is simple, and extremely easy to drink straight. For a 100 proof there is almost no burn. Be very careful drinking this, it is so easy to drink, you won't realize how much you've had. At $16 I've found my everyday drinker.15.99 USD per Bottle -
Larceny Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 16, 2019 (edited May 22, 2020)Out of the fridge there is no single flavor that stands out for me. It's sweet but no distinction. Once swallowed you are left with a mild warmth that sets in your chest for a while. Frozen there is a very sugary vanilla that stands out in the taste but if it gets slightly warmer it's back to the sweet with no distinction. This is my first wheater so maybe wheat isn't my thing, but I was disappointed with this one25.99 USD per Bottle -
Four Roses Yellow Label Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 4, 2019 (edited May 22, 2020)Honey, honey, honey. A lot of honey with just a small hint of rye spice sneaking in at the end. Very smooth. Your left with a honey spicy taste. A lot of honey.21.99 USD per Bottle
