A nice full mouth-feel, as to be expected from a on-chill filtered whisky. A heavy hit of peat gives way to some sweet and creamy notes, with a little crème brûlée on the finish as well as some licorice and more peat.

Less oakey then expected, lilely due to its young age. Some sweet caramel notes on the palate and a peaty finish with a hint of charcoal

Plenty of peat, unusualy for The Glenlivet but this is not a standard expression. Rich and full but retaining balance, this is a wonderful dram.
