Is this heaven? No, but its close enough…

Really solid bottle for ynder $30 bucks. Lots of vanilla and caramel up front and easy to drink at the lower proof point

Drinks much less harsh than its 125 proofpoint. Really smooth on the back end. If you like higher proofpoint whiskeys youll love this. I like it muuuuuch more than its 90 proof little brother. For a 125 proof rye at $35 a bottle, you wont find any better anywhere. 100% would buy again.

A real oak bimb that drinks much more flavorful and heavy than its 88 proofpoint. Worth the ~$75 MSRP but would not do again for over $100 if its marked up on the secondary market.

Solid proof point. Very complex favors. Little burn upfront, but after you get into it, a lot of complexity reveals itself. Lotta caramel and vanilla. Would definitely drink again. Drink more than one pour at a time to maximize the flavor profile.
