Tastes

Nose: vanilla, green apple and sherry. Taste: creamy vanilla, butterscotch and allspice. Finish: creamy upfront with vanilla that transitions into a buttery feel mid palate, sherry and spice, along with a buttery feel linger on the backend.

Nose: vanilla, honey and corn flakes. Taste: honey, smoke and sweet corn flakes. Finish: honey up front with hints of vanilla that transitions into smoke on the backend. The smokiness lingers for a bit.

Nose: vanilla, green apple and a hint of lemon. Taste: mellow vanilla, sweet grain and citrus. Finish: mellow vanilla up front that lingers for a bit mid palate. Citrus on the back end of the palate that transitions into zest with a hint of burn.

Nose: sweet oak, vanilla, caramel and a hint of peanuts. Taste: deep caramel, orange zest and chocolate. Finish: caramel upfront that quickly transitions into a nice chocolate with a bit of spice and peanuts that linger on the backend.

Nose: vanilla, caramel, toffee and peanuts. Taste: caramel, all spice and peanuts. Finish: good amount of caramel that transitions to peanuts with a good bite at the end.

Nose: vanilla, caramel and oak. Taste: vanilla, hint of caramel and sweet oak. Finish: mellow vanilla up front that transitions into a watery hint of caramel, small bite at the end. Ground yourself in that this is a bottom shelf Bourbon from Buffalo Trace and take your tasting notes from that fact. For me it’s not bad.

Nose: apple, honey and caramel. Taste: honey, apples and smoke. Finish: honey right up front followed by sweet apple that’s ends with hints of smoke that linger a bit.

Nose: vanilla, green tea and oak. Taste: spices of rye (duh), bread and a very small hint of vanilla. Finish: hint of vanilla up front that transitions to spices all over the pallet with a hint of burn at the end.
