Tastes

Nose: oak, sherry, sweet spice and a hint of vanilla with nutty aromas. Taste: sherry, vanilla, tobacco and all spice. Finish: sherry upfront with vanilla mid palate and finishes with lingering sherry, hints of vanilla and all spice. It mellows very nice on the backend.

Nose: vanilla, oak and hint of ethanol. Taste: vanilla, hint of caramel and pepper. Finish: vanilla up front that’s very mellow but fades very fast and a small burn at the end.

Nose: cherry, oak, vanilla and stone fruits. Taste: cherry, vanilla, oak and black pepper. Finish: cherry upfront that transitions into a nice mild vanilla that then goes into a black pepper with lingering sherry at the end.

Nose: vanilla, hint of green apple and shortbread cookies. Taste: hint of vanilla, apple and shortbread cookie. Finish: shortbread cookie upfront with a hint of vanilla. Turns watery very fast with a metallic finish.

Nose: orange, chocolate and sherry. Taste: toffee, sherry, chocolate and orange. Finish: sweet upfront that transitions into hints of chocolate, orange and at the backend buttery toffee with hints of sherry.

Nose: vanilla, tobacco and oak. Taste: black pepper, hint of mint, oak and vanilla. Finish: vanilla upfront that quickly turns into a very mellow mint with a nice oak sweetness on the backend with a small burn.

Nose: vanilla, cherrywood, honey, banana and grain. Taste: vanilla, honey, hint of banana and pepper. Finish: creamy vanilla upfront that transitions into soft honey with lingering cherrywood and pepper on the backend. Nice mellow whiskey.

Nose: dark fruits, raisins, sherry and citrus fruits. Taste: sherry, chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Finish: sherry and chocolate upfront which transitions into a mellow vanilla that lingers on the backend with the smallest bite.

Nose: cinnamon, caramel and a hint of vanilla. Taste: cinnamon, cola, all spice and brown sugar. Finish: caramel hits upfront and that transitions into a nice mellow vanilla on the backend. The ABV does hit you, but it quickly mellows out.

Nose: shortbread cookies, vanilla, cereal and apple. Taste: vanilla, sweet wheat and banana. Finish: creamy vanilla upfront that transitions into a brown sugar mid palate with a nice vanilla on the backend that lingers a bit. While this bottle is not sweet like the standard bottle. I feel with the extra ABV% gives it a nice punch with a rich taste.
