A stunning rye, as we call it in Canada. I have two bottles from its award-winning year, one to drink and one to save. Caramel and burnt marshmallow. Toffee. Delicious. Top shelf.

3 1/2 stars. Sweeter and a little more overpowering than it's square-bottled Wiser's brethren. Good but I prefer the 35yo, Legacy or Last Barrels.

I'm guessing this is the same as Chatoe Rogue from Oregon but I can't find a listing for it. Anyway, I'll rate it here. Sourmash nose. Sweet, very sweet even for a rye. Tastes a little underrefined. Still, it does its job.

Heavy tobacco. I can't distinguish the 12 from the 18. $160 when purchased, now over $200. Not for my palate.

Gentle nose. Spicy. Bold. Near overpowering. Needs a cube. Has a real bite. Three and a half stars.

Biting. Lovely. Warming. Took me a while to warm to it but it's truly lovely.
