Needs some time in the barrel. It has the start of some good nuttyness, but man does it need to age a bit more.

Not bad, another Crown Royal flavor that will pass by with out much fanfare. It's worth it if free or you get a good deal.

overall pretty good but doesn't stand out. it has a bit of heat. It is a decent time with friends kind of drink. it won't take over the conversation kind of drink. There is a little bit of sweet that shows up near the end and disappears quickly.

Ohhhh Myyyy. This is an absolutely wonderful time in a glass. This is one of those moments I am so happy to work for Distiller else i may have never had the chance to try this. A wonderful sweet leather note on the nose to me and a almost syrupy (in a good way) salted caramel taste. It is like if whiskey and werthers originals had a baby in japan and taught it the ways of whiskey. There is enough feeling in the back of your throat to let you know its there. An after taste of cloves maybe? The end is harder for me to pin down, but it is a nice relaxing ending for sure. Overall though, what I really love is the mouth feel. It almost coats your mouth in this wonderful taste and oiliness that you never want to go away. @brent you said this was good, but man, is this good.

this is super nice. Not an explosion of flavors and heat. Just a great way to sip the night away with friends. Subtle sweet kinda cider taste, hint of smoke, a little oily.
