Peanut butter and Jelly with potato chips and a tall glass of cold milk, or grilled cheese and tomato soup are the staples the come to mind... just as buffalo trace is my staple of go to bourbons. I love it. My pocket book loves it. When my taste buds and wallet have been scorned by some flavor o' the week whiskey- This is the beastly, hairy, huge membered elixir I come stumbling back to every time ..

The nose is complex, giving you a feeling that you might be diving into a delicious new whiskey- AND THEN: like a generic Louisiana hot sauce; the spice comes on quickly and lacks complexity- the smell is sweet but the taste is bitter, exceptionally thin, and smokey like a rain soaked ash tray. Add the taste of funeral flowers and rubbing alcohol to the mix and BINGO! You've got a bottle of this stuff. Thumbs down- Heaven hill continues to disappoint with this batch,
