Tastes

Aroma of peat and caramal vanilla. Taste of campfire smoke ashes with initial taste, initial bite as well. Not overly smokey taste. Finish includes a nice numbing tingle with a short finish. Aftertaste is a bit like caramal and hint of peat. Overall a good everyday scotch but nothing overall complex.

Sweet pear and fruit like aroma. Initial taste is sweet and finishes the same sweet. Taste of pear and apple. Aftertaste is a bit undesirable. Very smooth and only a slight burn on swallow.

Very light color. Aroma of light smoke like BBQ coals. Aroma of rubber. Sweet taste, with aftertaste of peat. Finish flavor of peat. Medium finish. Overall sweet initial taste and a nice smokey finish. A little too sweet if anything. The afterfinish has an undesirable after taste

Smokey aroma. Sweet aftertaste from the bourbon barrels. Recommend that this whiskey be opened up.

Spice initial flavor, very sweet flavor afterwards. Leathery and smokey taste. Spicy lingering flavor with a medium finish.

Light smoke aroma. Spice flavor. Finish is clean and a long lasting.

Sweet vanilla oak and peaty smoke aroma. Initial taste is pepper followed by strong peat. Spicy aftertaste with very long finish. Very drinkable.
