Lagavulin Distillers Edition
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed August 8, 2021 (edited May 7, 2022)Aroma is lighter smoke than lagavulin 16. Iodine, leather and slightly fruity. Spicy taste, and smooth drinkability. Long finish that leaves you with a remarkable aftertaste, mostly smokey, slight sweetness initially. -
Lagavulin Offerman Edition 11 Year
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed November 18, 2019 (edited December 4, 2019)Peaty aroma with a hint that reminds me of tequilla, less peaty than the 16, very sweet also. Taste is spicy all along the way except the swallow. Very woody aftertaste and then a final mouthfeel of caramel that is long lasting.
