Shocked by the low score from Distiller. This sweet and spicy bourban is nothing less than a 93. Nice oakey finish too. Too pricey to drink on a regular basis, but if you come across it, get it. This is what most bourbans strive for.

Not alot going on here. I admit I bought this bad boy simply based on the label...what a label. First sip was promising. Vanilla. A little oak? Then...nothin. No down slope. No finish. Perhaps I'm being a bit rough. The label tag claims this bourban earned a 96 score on some tasting panel. I wasn't on that panel.

The house scotch. Like it's advertised: smokey and p-e-a-t-y. Scotland in a bottle. I feel all growns up when I drink this whisky. This is a "Let's quietly celebrate our good fortune" scotch, not a "hey, it's Tuesday, let's tie one on" scotch.

As far as bourbon goes, this, so far, is my main man. Complex. Lots of flavors from sweet to smokey come out. Nice long oakey finish too. This is a good fire-side, introspective whisky.

Smooth. Dangerously so. I didn't find this one to be overly complex, though, and the finish didn't seem as long as I was hoping. Sweet. I'll give you that. Perhaps I'll need a little more refining before I can give this a four-star or higher rating.
