Tastes

I hated it at first, but now find it to be an ok drink. Fruity and a bit of butter caramel, it is not spicy at all. There is an odd aftertaste lingering on the back of the toungue. Wasn't expecting much from a "theme" whisky. Hope we won't see a star wars set (android oil in r2d2 shaped bottles).

Easy on the palette, a bit fruity, not spicy. Bit pricey for what ot delivers.

I expected a bit more character. It is good, and starts off with some attitude, but establishes and finishes quite ordinarily.

Quite pleasant on the nose. Has a bit of spunk to it, I expected less bite from a 12 year old. But I like it, a nice solid scotch for those of us who are adverse to licking ashtrays. Would love to try a more mature bottle, if I could sneak one by my accountant!

So far my least favorite of the great ones collection. It's got maple up the wazoo, maybe I thought it would be more subtle. Don't hate it, but the bottle will be around for a good part of 2021.

It's different, it has a smell and taste that sets it apart from scotch or Irish. I like it, won't be in my primary selection. A good option when I want something different.

A great selection when you want a shot with some attitude.

Balvenie does not disappoint. Great special occasion spirit.

This is a great taste, especially for its age. Had the pleasure to see the distillery. The price makes it a special occasion nip.

Fine tasting whisky. One of my favorites.
