Nutty, citrusy and peppery with a lemony finish all while leaving a nice oily mouth feel. Discovered at a random bar while traveling and was a very memorable drink.

Not as sweet as your typical bourbon, which is why I have this as my decanter option always. Solid and reliable. Tasty neat or on the rocks or in a cocktail. Can’t beat the value for money

A lot more aggressive than the standard 16. Still enjoyed it. Neat or on a big cube of ice. More peat and and smoke than most Lagavulin’s I’ve had. Definitely don’t regret the purchase but not sure I’ll get another when this finishes.

Definitely reminds me of Christmas. A bit on the sweeter side of my preference but enough spice and nuance to still make me want to buy it again. Mouthfeel is great and too easy to drink.

Good whiskey. Preferred it with a large cube of ice. Not as good as the 1990’s and definitely not as good as the Yoichi 15
