Reviewed March 4, 2021 (edited September 6, 2024)Intense aromas of juniper and coriander with an undercurrent of licorice and some light citrus. Oily mouthfeel. Palate is predominantly spicy; coriander returns on the attack and persists strongly throughout; juniper reappears on the midpalate, accompanied by Meyer lemon; potting soil emerges on the short-medium finish. 2.50/5.00 – Acceptable (neat) -
Predominantly grainy and neutral nose with a touch of charcoal. Oily mouthfeel. Subtle citrus and grain sweetness on the attack; midpalate is full of spice, which then lingers on the finish as the charcoal returns. Comparatively little burn. A fair bit going on here for a vodka in this price range. 2.50/5.00 – Acceptable (neat)

Unsurprisingly, orange dominates the nose, though much fainter notes of nutmeg, banana, cinnamon, and pineapple also appear. Mouthfeel is very rich. Palate is quite sweet and lightly bitter, with – no surprise – intense orange marmalade and tangerine flavours. Some cinnamon and pineapple reappear on the medium-length finish. Not quite complex enough to be truly memorable on its own, but it makes an ideal ingredient for many a cocktail. 2.75/5.00 – Decent (neat)

Vanilla returns immediately on the attack, then cinnamon and cloves reappear on the midpalate through to the medium-length finish, accompanied by a note of dark chocolate. Great intensity of flavour, though somewhat lacking in complexity. 3.00/5.00 – Good (neat) -
Quite earthy and lightly herbal on the nose. Full-bodied and oily mouthfeel. Palate is relatively neutral, but with a noticeable earthy undertone all the way through that becomes slightly more vegetal toward the finish. Decent burn on the midpalate and the finish that is only slightly softened by a reduction in temperature. 2.25/5.00 – Mediocre (neat)
