On the nose, apple chips, cedar wood, neutral ethanol, cinnamon, and toffee. Mouthfeel is light and round. Palate is a bit subdued, but shows more apple chip, cinnamon, and toffee notes, along with vanilla and plenty of oak. A little heat on the finish, but not bad, with short-medium length. 2.50/5.00 – Acceptable (neat)

Fresh aromas of juniper, lemon oil, coriander, orris root, sweet orange, and cardamom. Creamy mouthfeel. All the same notes from the nose reappear on the palate, leading into a smooth, lingering finish. Not the most exciting or creative gin – but an undeniably well-balanced and versatile one. 3.50/5.00 – Impressive (neat)

On the nose, juniper up front, then a strong whiff of neutral ethanol, which gives way to faint lemon peel, coriander, and orris. Creamy mouthfeel. More juniper and noticeable ethanol on the palate, plus more lemon peel and coriander, then some cardamom on the finish. A little bit of heat on the medium-length finish, but not too bad. A shame – without the strong chemical ethanol note, it would be a decent gin. 2.25/5.00 – Mediocre (neat)

Diverse aromas of pine, menthol, dried orange, saffron, honey, almond, sage, and nutmeg. Thick and syrupy on the palate, with a healthy dose of sweetness tempered somewhat by the more bitter, spicy, and herbal notes. Specifically, saffron, nutmeg, honey, orange, pine, sage, and menthol reappear – joined by angelica and jasmine. Finish is medium-length. 3.75/5.00 – Very Good (neat)

Juniper, lemon peel, earthy orris, jasmine, coriander, and grapefruit on the nose. Creamy, somewhat oily mouthfeel. Juniper returns with more intensity on the palate, followed by more lemon, orris, coriander, and jasmine, with a touch of sweet orange on the finish. Finish is smooth and long. 3.50/5.00 – Impressive (neat)
