The Weller 12 was a great suggestion too. My GF keeps stealing it due to the nice nose on it. Smooth til the end when the booze hits you.

I love smoke. Barbeque, bacon, lapsung tea, scotch... But I don't love this. Maybe it's the lack of peat, maybe it's the scrub oak smoke that tastes more carbon-like, or maybe it's the corn. Creative. But meh.

I cant decide. I've had corn forward whiskey before, and I can't tell the difference here. The bartender tells me it is buttered popcorn. Alyssa tells me it's got an intense nose, smooth, but doesn't give a fuck.

very flavorful whiskey, much more than the others I tasted at the same proof. typical bourbon vanilla and caramel notes. I'd do it again.

very punchy. I drank this 46% next to two others of the same strength and this was the "punchiest". Also didn't have a ton of flavorm Guess the Mormons in Utah aren't great at whiskey. haha.
