Apple, toffee, and brown sugar on nose. Caramel, butterscotch on palate. Sweet and pretty well balanced. No bite at all, would have guessed this is a rum given the sweetness. Buff Trace alternative. Hope east coast prices for this start to drop.

Palate matches the nose. Burnt sugar/caramel with vanilla from the oak. Sweet corn and baking spices. A nice savoriness, doesn’t linger too long or stop too abruptly. Might become a daily at price point and profile. Need to explore more higher proof wheats

Barrelled 2/2014. 8years 7months First pour. Smells sweet of corn and vanilla Grainy, nutty, and oak up front. Pretty thin for the proof. Heat shows up with a bit of leather and more oak. Fairly consistent profile throughout. Nice linger with a hint orange peel Would make a great old fashioned.

Taste matches the smell Hints of sweetness draped with ethanol burn. Fairly thin, not too much complexity. 75% corn helps sweetness shine through at its proof. Will be a great sub for ryes in cocktails
