Wow, what a find! Ordered it directly from Spain, and I have to say that within this price range it's one of the best whiskies I had. Gorgeous light color, stunning on the nose, and works well on the palate too with its semi-aggressive yet smooth tones.
Not my first Damoiseau rum, so definitely expected more sugar and less of a scratchy aftertaste. Yet, it feels pretty solid and with no artificial flavor, something unexpectedly powerful.
Caramel on the nose with a good touch of spice, with a sudden unexpected unsweetness as you taste it. Feels a bit too aggressive, almost too crude on the palate. This bottle might take a while...
