Tastes

Nose: Great nose. Sweet chocolate and vanilla notes. There is something cake like about the nose. Palate: chocolate and vanilla follow but I pick up more fruit on the palate. Some cherry/ berry and some apple near the end. Finish: not super long and get mostly oak on the finish.

Tobacco and leather nose, as it opens more oak comes through in the nose. Flavors are very sweet. Cherry and vanilla dominant to me. Finish is pretty subtle vanilla and oak. Super easy drinker.

Vanilla/maple, charred oak and floral nose. Vanilla and some orange. Finish is some heat and maple finish.

Ton of maple on the nose with some dark fruit. Spicy throughout palate with maple and barrel. Finish you get some maple, some spice anise?, cocoa and citrus. Overall this is sweet and maple dominant. Everything is ramped up. Delicious.

Barrel, toffee, rye bread, and citrus on the nose. Palate is wood and caramel. On the finish I get some apple.

Vanilla and oak nose. Palate is vanilla and booze. Finish vanilla, oak, and maybe some orange. This has been one of my favorite “basic” bourbons. So I though first check in should start with it.
