Tastes

Wow, I'm not entirely sure what to make of this yet. Very fruit-forward - lots of mango and coconut. Long finish with an almost medicinal taste. I need more time getting to know this whisky.

Rich and viscous. Peat on the nose but it takes a back seat to toffee on the palate. Medium-long finish gives way again to smokey peat. A wee dram of this is like a three-course meal!

Lots of orange on the nose. Rich, sweet caramel on the palate but quite mild. medium-long, gentle finish. Excellent QPR!

Peatier than the normal famous grouse. Not much complexity but a pleasant drink.

Rich, cinnamony caramel with a dash of orange that comes out of nowhere. A wave of oak comes in after several seconds and the the finish is long and layered - like honey but not nearly so sweet.
