Appearance: Amber, lager-esque. Medium-short legs Nose: nutmeg, cinnamon, toffee, raisin (7) Palate: pepper, raisin, oak, vanilla. Pretty thin mouthfeel (6) Finish: oak, pepper, maybe some floral notes. (5) Overall: kind of underwhelming given the hype if I’m being honest. Not bad, but definitely not worth the $55.00 I paid to get this where I live in NYC. I can see spending $30-$40 on it, but there are much better options in the higher price points (even at $40 there are better options imo)55.0 USD per Bottle

Hudson Baby Bourbon (DISCONTINUED)
Bourbon — New York, USA
Reviewed January 16, 2020 (edited January 22, 2020)**Appearance:** Amber, like an ale or apple juice. **Nose:** alcohol, varnish, only the slightest sweetness of corn. **Palate:** what I’d image baseball bats taste like if puréed into a smoothie. Sharp pine tar, wood, no sweetness. **Finish:** acid spice. Saved by its shortness. **Overall:** I had some of this at a bar and enjoyed it, so I bought a bottle. Now I’m thinking they poured me something different. I can see why the wax cap on this bottle was so hard to open. It was a defense mechanism. Now I have to hope my sink gets clogged so I have a use for this. I don’t like wasting.45.0 USD per Bottle
