I liken this to an angry Highland single malt. Where a Highland might be restrained, this is just in your face with bold flavors. You owe it to yourself to at least try it.

Honey on nose and palate. Smooth with no burn. Lots of flavor. Solid all the way through the finish. Likely my new favorite Irish whiskey.

Had this after Redbreast 12yr and it tasted almost watery by comparison. Will have to revisit it some time again on its own, but for now, not impressed.
