Nice woody and maple scent on the nose. Oak, maple, vanilla and grass in the palate. A short but smooth finish for a 100 proof.

Peat followed by a creamy coffee nose Taste is a bit more sharp than the 16yr. Still has the smokey flavor, hints of meat, peach. Shifts to a coffee, bitter stout-like profile. Long, lingering finish that leaves semi-sweet chocolate taste on the tongue. Different than the classic 16, but delicious in its own right.

A pleasant, light bourbon.

Bought this because my wife is an Outlander fan. However, a great "celebrity" purchase! Nose has honey and caramel. Taste has vanilla, cloves and a bit of orange. Nice finish that lingers pleasantly.

Oak and honey with a touch of spice. A little hot but a nice finish.
