More depth of flavor than other Irish whiskeys I have tried. Hint of lemon and menthol on the nose, along with a bit of vanilla. More vanilla on the palate with maybe some chocolate. A lingering finish leaving some wood and grass on the tongue. Overall, a nice neat dram.

I just keep coming back to this as one of my true favorites!

Spice and orange peel on the nose. Not Smokey, but some grass and more spice on the palate. A lingering finish with just enough heat. A great sipper.

The more I taste this, the more I like it. Each dram brings more highlights of the traditional Lagavulin flavors, the warmth of the smoky peat, and then the slight bitterness of the Guinness on the back of the palate. A favorite cold weather sipper.

A little light, but nice floral nose and on the palate. Well balanced flavor that has a noticeable but not strong peat presence.
